Atlanta Beverage Company was founded in 1930 by Stuart P. Murray. Since this was the time of Prohibition, the Company sold "near beer" and certain brands of soft drinks. In 1936, shortly after the end of Prohibition, the Company began selling beer.

In 1944, Atlanta Beverage Company became the exclusive distributor of Anheuser-Busch, Inc. products within metro Atlanta. Today, we sell to and service over 4,000 retail accounts within 9 metro Atlanta counties including Carroll, Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Douglas, Fulton, Haralson, Henry and Paulding.

We operate from two locations to better serve our retail customers. Anheuser-Busch Wholesalers, together with 12 breweries and a vast network of shippers, provide the most extensive and effective beer distribution system in the brewing industry. Refrigerated warehouses and computer-based inventory systems make sure our Retailers and Customers get the freshest, highest-quality beer available anywhere.
