• Sales Representative

  Primary purpose and function of position:

   

  Sell in supplier products and provide value added services to retail accounts by maintaining appropriate inventory levels and providing resources to promote product sell through.

   

  Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

   

  • Maintain retail call frequency to include: follow structured selling process, maintain inventory levels, building and restocking displays as needed, booking displays, permanent point of sale placements, selling in additional shelf space, rotate product, filling shelves, planning promotion activities, follow-up on delivery issues, and resolve billing issues
  • Introduce and sell in new brands and packages including activities to support sell through, as necessary
  • Complete required paperwork such as point sheets, expense reports, tracking forms, surveys and work orders
  • Establish and monitor quality control standards (product freshness, finished product loss).
  • Communicate with all company departments as necessary
  • Participate in evening and weekend promotions as necessary
  • Make daily decisions regarding retail inventory levels using past sales history, sales data tools (IRI, CDT, SMART), changes in climate, competitive activity and special promotional activities
  • Maintain all required information in hand-held computer
  • Comply with all legal guidelines, supplier and Grey Eagle standards and policies

   

  Qualifications and requirements:

   

  • High school diploma or GED certificate required, Bachelors degree preferred
  • 1 year beer selling or merchandising experience
  • Project a friendly, courteous and professional image
  • Highly self-motivated and results oriented
  • Excellent internal and external customer orientation
  • Excellent problem solving skills with strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized with ability to manage priorities and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong verbal and written customer orientation
  • Familiarity with MS Office to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • Valid state of employment driver license
  • Safe driving record

• Position Title: Part-time Drivers

  Job Description:

  Join our team! Our part-time drivers work on an as needed basis to fill in for full-time drivers out on vacation, sick time or disability. Part-time drivers deliver beer on established routes.
  
  Responsibilities:
  
  

  • Operates various types/sizes of trucks on highways and maneuvers them for proper unloading at various types of facilities
  • Receive non-cash payments from customers, recording transactions upon delivery
  • Unload truck contents onto hand truck or material handling equipment
  • Deliver beer on shelves/racks or inside refrigerated units
  • Provides communication with supervisor, customer and co-worker during the receipt and delivery process
  • Ability to push/pull hand truck weighing 200+ lbs.
  • Ability to repetitively pull, push bend over, reach above head height, walk, climb, twist and crawl

  Salary:
  
  Part-time drivers are paid by the number of cases delivered. Daily pay averages between $114 - $240. Part-time drivers are required to join the Teamsters Local #600.

  Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED certificate required
  • 0-1 year of general work experience required
  • Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL)
  • Prior grocery store and/or consumer products/retail or wholesaler experience preferred
  • Must meet state age requirements
