K & L Distributors was established in 1940 by Irving J. Levine and Jack Kessler. Two years later Irving's brother Stanley Levine joined K & L. He established residence in Anchorage and began covering the entire state of Alaska.

K & L began distributing Budweiser in King County Washington in 1948. Dan Levine, became president of K & L in 1990, and continues the family tradition today representing fine Anheuser-Busch products in King County Washington and the entire state of Alaska.

Anheuser-Busch Wholesalers, together with twelve breweries and a vast network of shippers, provide the most extensive and effective beer distribution system in the brewing industry.
