Chef Jill Anderson

Jill Anderson is the chef/owner of Pinch of Thyme, a personal chef and food service consulting business based in Sleepy Eye, MN. She has instructed over 300 culinary classes, and the popularity of her "rural gourmet" cuisine has led to the publishing of two cookbooks. To enhance her culinary arts degree, Jill is currently studying for her advanced PCEC certification from the American Culinary Federation. When she isn't cooking special meals for her husband, Rob, and her two adorable children, Bailey (11) and Brady (9), Jill has volunteered for "Ground to Gourmet", a grassroots program promoting sustainable agriculture with a local network of providers.

Monthly Beer Pairing Dinners

Every month Jill designs a unique five course meal and each course is paired with a specially selected beer. many people think that wine is the best accompaniment to food, but the reality is that beer delivers a much wider range of flavors. Experience the tastes for yourself and learn a little more about the wonderful world of great beer paired with food. Sign up early as dinners are limited to 10 participants.

Cooking Classes

Jill uses a party atmosphere to expand culinary comfort levels through the use of specialty foods, unique recipes, and hands-on cooking skills.
