Wantz Distributors was originally founded in 1933, by Hiram B. Wantz. The company was initially organized to sell, market, and distribute malt beverage products in Washington County, Maryland. The company was originally located on 88 West Lee Street in downtown Hagerstown. Our product lines at that time included several regional brews along with the Anheuser-Busch brewery. Over time local brands were sold and second generation Hiram B. Wantz Jr. dedicated all efforts to grow the Budweiser brands. To this day we remain committed to the A-B InBev brands, but carry over 75 different brands and sell over 350 different packges today. Our product line now cover domestic, import, craft and speciality beers.

Wantz Distributors operates out of a 75,000 square foot state of the art facility located just outside Hagerstown at the intersection of interstates I-70 and I-81. Wantz Distributors proudly distributes our full line of products to Garrett, Allegany, Washington, Frederick and Carroll counties in Maryland. Wantz Distributors remains a fourth generation family owned and operated company committed to the people who buy and sell the products we distribute.
