CITY Beverage-Chicago started operating on December 1, 2004, after being acquired by Anthony Soave of Detroit, Michigan and Cecil Troutwine. Soave Enterprises is a privately held, Detroit-based company with ownership in various companies. Chicago Beer Distributing of Markham, IL, CITY Beverage-Bloomington, IL, and Kalamazoo Beer Distributing of Michigan are part of Soave Enterprises diversified entities. All wholesalers combined creates Anheuser-Busch’s largest distribution network in the four-state region of Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Michigan.
CITY Beverage-Chicago employs over 70 full-time employees. CITY Beverage-Chicago calls on over 1400 retail accounts covering over 40 square miles of territory that encompasses the southern parts of Chicago and many of the western suburbs.
