OUR HISTORY Harris Wholesale, Inc. was founded in 1949 by L. Worth Harris, Sr. who at the time operated one of the largest trucking companies on the east coast, which he had built from humble beginnings. Thereafter, Mr. Harris acquired the rights to sell Anheuser-Busch beers in the Raleigh area. Today, Harris wholesale, Inc. is one of the largest beer distributors in North Carolina, servicing retail accounts in Wake, Cumberland, Moore, Chatham, Wilson, Johnston, Hoke, Lee, Bladen, Greene, Sampson, Edgecombe and Harnett counties. Harris Wholesale is actively involved in supporting many charities and in responsible drinking programs through partnerships with educators, government officials and private companies. Harris Wholesale takes seriously the Anheuser-Busch motto "Making Friends is our Business" and has set about to build a legacy of trust and respect.
