Bent River Brewing Co. - Moline/Rock Island, Illinois
Bent River Brewing Company was conceived by Tim Koster of Koski Home Brew Fixen's Ltd. April 1993, Koski Home Brew Fixen's, opened its storefront in downtown Moline.  In the fall of 1996, the Bent River bar opened to the public.  In 2009 local restauranteur and patron, Joel Krogman, joined the team to expand and protect our brewing traditions and transform the Moline location into a fully-operational, top-notch brew pub.  The Rock Island Brewery, Bar, Special Events Room and Distribution Center opened its doors in the spring of 2012 to meet demand. With a brand new fermentation system and bottling line, Bent River quickly expanded beyond its Mississippi River Valley roots and can be found in stores, bars and restaurants across Illinois, Iowa and Missouri.

Green Tree Brewery - LeClaire, Iowa
The Green Tree Brewery sits on the banks of the Mississippi River in Le Claire Iowa where Interstate 80 crosses between Iowa and Illinois. Le Claire is a quaint town with a rich historic past and a vision for the future. You can shop, dine and stroll the streets enjoying the view of the river.  The owners are Dr. Richard Day and his wife, Denise Day. Richard has always (well, for 20 years anyway) had a passion for brewing his own beers because he loved adding his own flavors to the brews to make them very unique. He enjoyed the flavors of his own beers better than the flavor-neutral beers that were on the markets. He and his wife frequented a local microbrewery often and when they would travel, they would search out other microbreweries, sometimes visiting 3 or 4 in a day.  It didn’t take much encouragement from his wife, kids, sister in law, nephew and tons of other family and friends to take his brews to the next level. They thought that brewing 15 barrels at a time would be much better than 5 gallons! Not to mention, much easier to take the beer home with them! So, they opened Green Tree Brewery! With help from a lot of amazing people who believed in them.

Deschutes Brewery - Bend, Oregon
In 1988, Gary Fish established a small brewpub in downtown Bend, Oregon and named it after the iconic waterway flowing through town, the Deschutes River (pronounced da shootz). With a belief that good beer brings people together, Gary founded The Deschutes Brewery & Public House as just that – a home for the public. A community gathering place, where friends, family and strangers could come together over some great food and a house-brewed pint of beer.

In its first year, the public house sold 310 barrels of beer. Today, the brewery sells more than 225,000 barrels of beer each year and Deschutes can be found in 32 states and even a few countries. Over the years, Deschutes Brewery’s expanded beyond the original pub with a brewery and tasting room less than a mile across town on the banks of the Deschutes River in Bend, a second pub in downtown Portland, and a tasting room in Roanoke, Virginia.

Kona Brewing - Kailua-Kona, Hawaii

Aloha. That’s how most conversations begin here. It’s also how many of them end. But “Aloha” doesn’t just mean hello and goodbye and love and welcome. It means more than a word can express. It’s a feeling. A way of life. “Aloha” is the idea that we are all connected to everyone and everything around us and that true joy is found in respecting this connection. And it’s in this aloha spirit that the Kona Brewing Company was founded back in 1994 by Cameron Healy and his son Spoon Khalsa. They combined their love of Hawaii and its pristine, natural beauty with their fondness for delicious, local brews, and lucky for us, their dream lives on more than 20 years later.

So try a few of them. And join us in our pursuit of aloha.

For us, it all started in the mountains with a passion for craft beer and the simple desire to share our brews with our neighbors. Alaskan Brewing Co. - Juneau, Alaska

Alaska has a rich history of brewing. From the explorers of the 1700s through the Gold Rush, many a thirsty Alaskan has been able to enjoy locally made beers.

In 1986, 28-year-olds Marcy and Geoff Larson reignited that tradition when they opened the Alaskan Brewing Company, the 67th independent brewery in the country and the first brewery in Juneau since Prohibition. Alaskan beers reflect many of the same characteristics of beers that were brewed here during the gold rush era. From the historically based Alaskan Amber recipe to alder-smoked malts and Sitka spruce tips, Alaskan beers reflect Juneau’s local brewing history and innovation.
